Voting in Area 2
Everything you need to vote in the Glendora Unified School Board race
Election Day: Tuesday, November 3, 2026
But most Glendora families won't wait that long. Every active registered voter in California gets a ballot in the mail, and Los Angeles County starts mailing them in early October. For most of us, voting happens at the kitchen table sometime in mid-October.
That's worth knowing, because it means this race is decided earlier than people expect.
Am I in Area 2?

Glendora Unified has an official lookup tool: enter your address and it tells you which trustee area you live in.
If it returns Area 2, you can vote in this race. If it returns any other area, you'll be voting in a different school board race this year — and I'd still be glad to hear from you.
Note: trustee areas are not the same as school attendance boundaries. Plenty of Area 2 families attend a school in another area — where your kids go to school doesn't change which race you vote in.
Still not sure? Look up your sample ballot at lavote.gov. If you see "Glendora Unified School District, Trustee Area 2," you're in.
Key dates
Early October — Ballots mailed to every active registered voter in Los Angeles County
Monday, October 19 — Last day to register to vote online or by mail
After October 19 — You can still register and vote in person at any vote center in the county, right through Election Day
Tuesday, November 3 — Election Day. Vote centers open 7 AM to 8 PM
How to vote
By mail. Your ballot arrives in October. Fill it out, sign the envelope, and mail it back — no postage needed. Postmarked by Election Day counts.
Drop it off. Los Angeles County has hundreds of official ballot drop boxes, plus every vote center accepts completed mail ballots.
In person. Los Angeles County uses vote centers, not assigned neighborhood polling places. You can vote at any vote center in the county, whichever is most convenient. Locations and hours are posted at locator.lavote.gov closer to the election.
Check your registration at registertovote.ca.gov, and track your ballot at wheresmyballot.sos.ca.gov.
